CMHA Saskatoon is here with YOU in mind.
Who would have thought a year ago that we would be in the middle of something as unbelievable as a global pandemic! It’s been months of constant uncertainty, upheaval, and even worry. Every aspect of life has been touched – health, school, work, travel, relationships. Anxiety is a constant companion.
Everyone feels vulnerable right now. And everyone needs someone to talk to – someone who will listen without judgment. Someone who can provide encouragement, hope and answers that makes sense for your life now.
Now … imagine experiencing all of this while living with a serious disabling mental health need, coping with mounting fear while resources and supports disappear. Unsure how to maintain the careful balance you have created to support you on your mental health journey. Family, friends, and caregivers unable to drop in as frequently if at all. Feeling even more isolated and alone with every passing day.
“I am inquiring about some help for my panic during isolation. I have been dealing with this on my own for a few months now and have reached the end of being able to cope alone. This has become somewhat unbearable. I am dealing with panic attacks daily and nightly. I am feeling desperately alone.” Saskatoon Community Member
You Can Help! Your donation today means that the Canadian Mental Health Association – Saskatoon Branch can continue to provide caring, safe and supportive services for those who are feeling uncertain, alone, lost.
You can help us be here – so close to home – for everyone who comes to us in need.
Calls from people looking for help have tripled over the past eight months. CMHA Saskatoon has been adapting rapidly to meet ever-growing needs in this new reality, providing responsive one-to-one support as well as group programming – all while protecting everyone’s safety. Members of our support groups continue to meet online, safe and sound from their homes; our staff continue to connect one-to-one with clients, checking in on a regular basis to make sure everyone is safe and supported.
But this work depends on you. Won’t you give generously today …
You are a cherished partner in this work because you understand – good mental health means good health – now more than ever. With your steadfast support, we will continue to serve those who need us. Together, we will stay safe, be connected, and help others do the same. Together, we will ensure everyone has access to the support they need now during these trying times.
Thank you for doing your part to support the health of people in need!
Stay safe and be well,
