When life feels out of control,
it is comforting to connect with someone who needs help.
In troubled times,
you can be the steady hand on someone’s shoulder.
Your gift today will touch someone who really needs you!
The COVID 19 Pandemic has made connecting with others a struggle. For many people affected by mental health issues, the struggle is monumental. Isolation brings loneliness, uncertainty, anxiety, and the fear that results can be overwhelming for so many people.
But because of YOU, CMHA Saskatoon is here to listen and encourage, to help people connect safely, and stay healthy during this time. You have made our work possible in the past! Through your donation today you can help ensure our programs and services remain a strong connection to those who need it the most.
MAKING CONTACT doesn’t just feel good … CONNECTION is essential for our mental health!
Many CMHA Saskatoon programs and services have moved online and our mental health counsellors are in constant contact with clients and community. While we have quickly made changes to how we do our work, we have also been cautious and careful so that no one falls through the cracks widened by this pandemic. We are building our capacity to serve every one of our neighbours and friends struggling to find meaning now, and in the future.
CMHA Saskatoon will be needed by many more people long after this crisis is behind us! Perhaps it will be someone you know and love. Perhaps it may be you.
You can always count on us, especially in uncertain times. But we need your help. We count on you now more than ever, when the need is great and growing for so many.
Your gift today will touch people who need your support in Saskatoon; please give generously!
Faith Bodnar — CMHA Saskatoon Branch, Executive Director
PS: Since I know some of you are experiencing your own hardship right now, I don’t expect everyone will be able to give today. If you can, thank you, thank you, thank you! For those of you who can manage to give even more than your usual gift, your generosity will mean the world to so many.
